Sinking 05:18
I've got one cigarette to last me the day This old notebook is losing it's pages I can't remember the last time that I slept And I try to live with my head in the sky I'm sinking in this thing they call life I try to swim but I have too much weight on my shoulders The nicotine sinks into my skin My lungs burn as my head spins 'round I scream but there's no one there to listen I hit my head on the ground 'cause I can no longer stand I'm sinking in this thing they call life I try to swim but I have too much weight on my shoulders The hatred I feel for myself keeps me down I try to fly but I only cry at night The moon is full the seventh seal is open I kiss the seventh angel on his lips I'm sinking in this thing they call life I try to swim but I have too much weight on my shoulders Good Morning world can't you see what you've done to me Your God has ruined my life one to many times I try to run but I only trip and fall The blood runs down my arms as life rolls gently with it I dy I dy

It's been a long day long month long year but hang in there kid you'll make it through We've all been down that same road before We made it through and so will you So your arms are more scar than skin So you lost a kidney to the pills Think about those balloons on your birthday That pooh bear pillow Then lay down and cry it all away So you bought a nice new shiny gun a vinyl braided rope that holds 10,000 pounnds So the world says your head ain't screwed on straight they send you to a man who says it's life you hate Think about those balloons on your birthday That pooh bear pillow Then lay down and cry it all away Heed my words it's your life at stake If you don't listen now it's your life you will take Think about those balloons on your birthday That pooh bear pillow Then lay down and cry it all away

Why 02:23
There's a man with a cane out walking he's walking alone The snow is falling lightly as he says to himself "Why must we think about the past? Why the hell must time go so fast? Well there's no use in asking questions we can't answer." His wife passed on last year and he still leaves an empty chair The seat is hardly vacant 'cause he cooks and drinks for two He says, "Why must we think about the past? Why the hell must time go so fast? Well there's no use in asking questions we can't answer." He says, "It's time to let her go", and he visits her grave He lies down and puts his head on her gravestone and his heart gives way He doesn't need to think about the past He and his love will now and ever last And he flies into her arms on angels wings

Save Them 03:17
I see a girl across the street A man drives slowly by She lifts up her already high dress He waves a bill and she gets in his car As they drive away I scream at the top of my lungs Save them save the children Save them for they cannot save themselves I take a walk down a cold street I see a boy swapping money for drugs Two girls dressed in black Walk by me with thier heads hanging down Their wrists are cut open I say Save them save the children Save them for they cannot save themselves They swap sex for drugs and drugs for guns Guns for money and money for sex Will this cycle ever end The way it stops is if it doesn't begin Save them save the children Save them for they cannot save themselves

Your wings too close to the sun You were a tragedy meant to happen We waited for you to happen But you flew too close to the sun The world was a stage your light burned just like the sun You were a painful realization We waited for you to happen But you flew too close to the sun Your wings too close to the sun You were a tragedy meant to happen We waited for you to happen But you flew too close to the sun
